Day 1: Londorossi Gate – Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820m)
Drive from Arusha/Moshi to Londorossi Gate for registration.
Trek through lush rainforest to Big Tree Camp (Mti Mkubwa).
Hiking time: 3–4 hours
Dinner and overnight: Mti Mkubwa Camp
Day 2: Mti Mkubwa – Shira 1 Camp (3,505m)
Hike through heather and moorland terrain to reach Shira Plateau.
Expansive views of Kilimanjaro’s western slopes.
Hiking time: 5–6 hours
Dinner and overnight: Shira 1 Camp
Day 3: Shira 1 – Shira 2 Camp (3,850m)
Gentle trek across the plateau with views of Kibo Peak.
Acclimatization day with a gradual altitude increase.

Day 4: Shira 2 – Lava Tower (4,630m) – Barranco Camp (3,960m)

Day 6: Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp (4,640m)
Steady uphill walk to Barafu Camp, the base for your summit attempt.
Rest, hydrate, and prepare for midnight departure.

Day 7: Barafu – Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – Mweka Camp (3,100m)
Begin summit trek around midnight.
Reach Stella Point, then continue to Uhuru Peak – Africa’s highest point!
Descend to Barafu for rest, then onward to Mweka Camp.
Hiking time: 12–14 hours
Dinner and overnight: Mweka Camp
Day 8: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Drive to Moshi/Arusha
Final descent through rainforest to Mweka Gate.
Collect your summit certificates and return to your hotel.
