INCLUSIONS

Mount Meru (4,566m) is a spectacular volcanic cone located in Arusha National Park. It’s often chosen as a preparation trek before Kilimanjaro, but it stands as a rewarding climb on its own, with abundant wildlife, forested trails, and dramatic ridgelines. The 3-day trek is more intense than the 4-day version, designed for fit and acclimatized hikers.

With Adolita Tanzania Safaris, you’ll be guided every step of the way with expert knowledge, safety, and support.

Day 1: Arusha – Momella Gate – Miriakamba Hut (2,514m)

  • Transfer from Arusha to Arusha National Park.

  • Start your trek with a park ranger through forest trails, with opportunities to see buffaloes, giraffes, and monkeys.

  • Reach Miriakamba Hut for the night.

  • Hiking time: 4–5 hours

  • Dinner and overnight: Miriakamba Hut

Day 2: Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut (3,570m)

  • Hiking time: 3–4 hours

  • Dinner and overnight: Saddle Hut

Day 3: Saddle Hut – Socialist Peak (4,566m) – Momella Gate – Return to Arusha
